I don't know if you know this about me, but I have an underlying obsession that I think will stick with me for quite some time. And it's not salt (although I LOVE salt).
It's this handsome fellow from Denmark that also happens to be an artist, musician and designer of The.Most.Amazing.Clothing.Ever. - and yes, that many full stops are necessary to emphasise Henrik Vibskov's brilliance.
I first became aware of his stuff via THIS collection;
which as you can see is an absolute dream combination of texture, colour, preppiness, socks, dress shoes, European chic-weird-ness and ironic humour all wrapped up into a neat little ball of, yep, sweet style.
THEN he did Spring 08, accompanied by this BRILLIANT exhibition of self-sounding bicycles;
AND THEN, he did a collection called The Mint Institute, for the fashion show of which he casually bongo-drums at the back and then bops his models down the runway;
He's ALSO put everything he's done into an art exhibition that involves looking through trap doors to discover hidden worlds of black carrot patches, among other things.
I'm trying REALLY hard to get an interview, I think that I will feel that I've reached the pinnacle of my journalist career if I ever get to interview this amazing man, but until then go crazy HERE
AND, you can buy his wonderful creations HERE
