Anyone who's been around me for the last couple-slash-six months is SO over chat about this lovely lady. But hell, she's getting the attention she deserves in the UK (read: Critics Choice at the Brit Awards and...um...NME/Shockwaves Tour headliner - anyway...) so it's about time to spread the word south-side. 

Florence Welch, AKA Florence and the Machine is a nu-folk extraordinaire with an eclectic, powerful voice that belts out everything from Bruce Springsteen covers to music-less ditties about dying birds.
