I love flatmates with freebies

My flatmate Abby is a bit of a legend. She's always got free tickets to gigs and undoubtedly has contributed to an epic ( albeit hazy) summer.
Gig after gig we have been there, cheap as chips!

Anyway... Friday night came, and Abby slipped in that she had tickets going to Homegrown. Most of the acts weren't my thing ( despite being a huge promoter of NZ music) but needless to say i was more than happy to go!

Wellington put on the sun ( and a southerly), and all an all it was a pretty entertaining day.

Five stages, ten thousand excitable souls and heaps of NZ music- i have to give kudos to the organisers for putting on a great event.

Highlight for me- Bang Bang Eche, who lived up to their reputation and went crazy. These guys have such a strong sound and seeing them live is always insane.
I've ruined many a heel dancing to their set...
