STILL - LIFE

Hearts Revolution have been one of those bands that I've stayed purposefully clear of. As soon as they were mentioned numerous times in the NME news section I (now) know that they're probably not for me; an over-rated cup of 'of the moment' tea. Plus, the lead singer had an annoyingly distracting tendency to streak highlighter pink paint-like (zinc?) make-up across her eyelids, that was more tragic Batman impersonator than Karen O awesomeness. PLUS, they converted an ice cream truck into a merchandise van slash tour van and this kinda could've been cool but they painted it with previously aforementioned highlighter details, and I donno, just looked like your average baseless idiots in the front seat.

In saying that, they create a damn good video clip. I nicked a couple of still from this for collage purposes, but it's far more effective in motion.

BTW, please don't get deterred by the terrible cityscape at the start, just like their gimmics, there's more to it that that.
