TWO FIGHTS IN PARIS?

Last night we were too hungover to go out. I adore Saturday night video watching and being hungover is just the appropriate excuse to not have to go out, get fish and chips and other horrible-but-delicious snacks and revere the good ol' box for some prime watching. The only problem is that hangover movie choices can be a freakin' curse.

Not so last night, although Gemma will probably tell you that Across the Universe was one of the worst films she's ever seen - didn't hate it, didn't love it - but anyway, that's for a different review.

We watched Two Days in Paris first, and I think there was consensus that it was an enjoyable, if not at times awkward watch. Starring a super tattooed Adam Goldberg - are they real tattoos? And has anyone seen him in How To Lose a Guy in Ten Days when he was terrible? - and his girlfriend Julie Delpy, the couple return to Paris, Delpy's hometown for a break to visit family blah blah blah.

But. The romantic city envisaged is not realised as their abbhorent need to disagree with each other, Delpy's past lovers and a language barrier all come into the fray to cause many an hilarious, but cringe-worthy interlude. It's definitely worth watching, pretty realistic insight into stupid couple fights, really witty, quite pretty and funny funny FUNNY co-stars, particularly Delpy's father, who is a sex-obsessed art dealer and gallery owner.
